BSW Timber, the UK’s largest sawmilling business, has unveiled its latest new product innovation – a spruce infused chewing gum product ‘Juicy Spruce’. This latest new launch is part of the businesses’ relentless commitment to creating exciting new spruce derived products that make a difference to people’s lives and is the businesses first foray into the gum and sugar confectionery market.
The new gum will be created by infusing the inimitable fresh flavour of spruce tips with a traditional xylitol gum giving an unmistakable earthy flavour that will awaken the senses and bring one back to nature.
Fruity gums now make up more than 25% of gum sales by value in the UK, while nearly half of all gum consumption comes from under 25-year-olds, and BSW hopes to tap into this market amongst eco conscious youngsters.
New to market, Fruity Spruce gum contains healthy nutrients harvested directly from the spruce tips and is designed for nature’s people.
The gum combines a holistically natural sugar with its unique earthy spruce flavouring to help revitalise the body, gut, and mind.
At just 36 calories per pack, the gum is sugar-free, GMO-free, gluten-free, completely natural and vegan.
